FEMA Flood Elevation Certificates

In order to obtain a premium quote for flood insurance, a property owner is usually required to submit a Flood Elevation Certificate to the underwriter. This certificate will identify the the community, flood zone, and most importantly the grade elevations of the site as they relate to the base flood elevation.

Our office regularly prepares FEMA Flood Elevation Certificates for properties located in Special Flood Hazard Areas throughout New Jersey.

In situations where the Flood Insurance Rate Map incorrectly identifies a site as being in the Special Flood Hazard Area, we can prepare a Letter of Map Amendment (LOMA & eLOMA).
